See What We’ve Been Saying on TV!

I’ve neglected to share with you all of my recent TV appearances! I love the folks at Fox6 Real Milwaukee and always have a great time when on the show. Over the past several months, I’ve talked about winter car seat safety, cloth diapering, and buying used toys as gifts. So give the segments a listen and tell me what you think! (I seriously get SO nervous before each one and make my husband practice with me over and over the night before. He’s so patient!)

Winter Car Seat Safety

Click the picture below to view the segment that parallels my Winter Car Seat Safety blog post. I even did a live demonstration of how unsafe our kiddos actually are when bundled up in all their winter gear and then strapped in their seats. Even I was surprised at the result!

Cloth Diapers

With so many parents now turning to cloth diapers, the folks at Fox6 were excited about the opportunity to see some real, live fluff and hear about how parents actually make using and laundering them work. Click the picture to view the segment.

Buying Gently Used Toys

While this segment was certainly focused on promoting our on-line store, Jax in the Box (which we are in the process of closing; see this post for those details), the information on how to buy gently used and why it’s a great idea remains relevant. Check it out! And for even more details on how to use Craiglist and Facebook BST sites, read this blog post.

Some of the blog posts I’ve linked to mention items we have had in our on-line store inventory. If you’re interested in those products, they may be on major clearance during our inventory blowout sale as we shut down the store. While we will no longer operate the store after the end of the month, I hope you’ll continue to follow our blog. And let us know what topics you’d like me to discuss next on Fox6 — I’m always looking for fresh ideas!
